This program is for plumbers, gas engineers, electricians, handymen, and other tradespeople doing emergency or repair work in residential homes.

After completing a job, you simply say:

“If you’d had home emergency insurance, this could’ve been covered. I work with a company that offers it – here’s a link if you want to check it out.”

That’s it. No hard sell. No advice. Just a referral using your unique link or QR code.

No. You’ll be registered as an Introducer Appointed Representative (IAR) under HomeService.Insure (a trading style of Secure Risk Solutions Ltd), who are FCA-regulated. This means:

  • You’re legally allowed to refer customers
  • You must not give advice or make guarantees
  • You’re covered under our compliance framework

You’ll receive:

  • £20–£25 referral fee for every customer who signs up
  • Additional jobs when those customers make a claim through our system

Example:

  • 2 signups/week = £40–£50/week
  • 8–10 extra paid jobs/year = £2,000–£3,000+
  • Some partners earn £10,000+ annually

If they have an emergency in future:

  1. They contact Claimdesk, our 24/7 claims handler.
  2. If the job is in your area and within your skillset, you get the callout.
  3. You’re paid directly by us – no chasing customers.

Typical plans cover:

  • Boiler breakdowns
  • Plumbing leaks
  • Electrical faults
  • Emergency callouts
    (Full details are shown on the customer’s quote page – you do not need to explain this.)
  1. Register online (we’ll provide the link)
  2. Review and sign the IAR Agreement
  3. Receive your onboarding pack, link, and instructions
  4. Start referring and earning
  • Don’t give insurance advice
  • Don’t say a policy will “definitely cover” something
  • Don’t handle money or fill in forms for the customer
